Services Lead - Wales

We are looking to recruit someone who will be our Services Lead, and look after the Wales Area. This is a new role and an exciting opportunity within Avicenna Retail Limited.

This role will suit someone who is currently a pharmacy technician (full time) or a pharmacist willing to work 3 days a week to incraese and grow our existing services (NHS or locally commissioned)

What you need:

• Community Pharmacy experience (Technician level upwards).
• Ability to build relationships in LHBs, PCCs, DHWC, CPW etc..
• Great organisation and communications skills
• Drive for success

What you can expect:

As Services Lead for Wales, you will be working closely with the Superintendent office, Regional Managers and our Pharmacy teams.

Key accountabilities will be:

• NHS and locally commissioned services
• Online reporting portals, ensuring these are kept up to date
• Ensuring contracts are in place for all services, building and keeping a central database
• Notifying commissioners with any change of ownership to ensure contracts are up to date
• Act as the Avicenna Pharmacy support and implementation lead for AviClinic in Wales
• Act as the Operational and Governance lead on the annual Flu campaign
